Know simple Vastu Signs before you buy the house of your dreams

A home is a place that gives us joy and happiness; we work hard or sometimes save our entire life to put a roof on our heads. But what is the use, if our investment goes into a wrong place which fails to fill our lives with prosperity, wellness, and health?

You might be a person who doesn’t believe in Vastu, but the fact “The Science of Architecture” doesn’t change. A few things just exist and we need not believe in it but accept it for the welfare of the people around us.

What is Vastu?

Commonly known as Vastu, Vastu Shastra is a traditional system of Indians that integrates architecture with nature. Vastu ensures that one utilizes the best of the five-element of nature to combine with the architectural structure to ensure prosperity, wellness, wealth, and happiness of the residents.

Hence, Vastu is a complete science. A science that takes the various effects of the energy into consideration whose sole purpose is to serve the mankind.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Why Consider Vastu while buying a House?

Do you remember your grandmother or parents scolding you for placing your head towards North while sleeping, when you were a kid? Funny right? As a kid, I never argued with my grandmother since I was scared of her. But later I found out, the North Pole has a magnetic force which attracts iron towards it. Since our blood has iron content, the blood starts moving towards the head raising the possibility of brain hemorrhage or any brain nerve-related issues that might occur during the sleep.

When a simple thing like positioning our body can give us a brain hemorrhage, here we are talking about purchasing a house; a house in which you will build a home, be with your family, and grow with them to experience all the pleasures of life.

It’s difficult to consider all the things, since there is no house which is constructed Vastu proof. But here are a few things that you can keep in mind while making the big purchase to avoid maximum negative effects from the wrong Vastu.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]All You Need to Know About Vastu before Buying a New Home[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Things You Should Know about Vastu before Buying a House

#1 The Main Entry of Home:

As we all know that a house produces a kind of energy, a person should feel it every time he/ she passes through that door. The main entry of the home and the entire structure of the home are correlated with each other. Therefore a door should be positioned in a direction where the most beneficial energy can be activated. The main entrance of the home is considered ‘progress in life.’

Hence, The Main door should face east, north, or in the northeast direction. Apart from the direction, the main door should be the largest door in the home. The door should be opening inside. A two shuttered door is considered as a feather on the cap.

Here are a few key extra key points that you should keep in mind for all the other doors and windows of the home.

  1. All the windows and doors in the home should be even in number. For example two, four, six, eight, and so on.
  2. All the windows and doors in the home should be of equal sizes.
  3. Creaky windows and doors should be avoided.
  4. All doors should open in a clockwise direction.

Well, your  #1 in the checklist is done.

#2 Kitchen

A Kitchen is a place that feeds you. It is the only place in the house that has the major elements of nature present. They are water, fire, and air. More dominantly fire. The god of fire resides in the kitchen, according to Vastu Shastra. Therefore, the south-east direction is the best direction for the kitchen. If that’s not possible then the north-west direction will work.

Completely avoid north, north-east or south-west direction. They completely ruin the relationship between the residents.

Remember to maintain an equal balance between water and fire. Their balance will ensure your prosperity in wealth and health.

#3 Living Room

The center of the house should be light, spacious, and approachable to all parts of the house. Therefore, a living room is a perfect thing that fits in.

A living room of a house is a place where a family spends its most of the time together. All the major activities of a house are living room centered. Henceforth, a living room should be east, north or north-east facing direction for a good amount of sunlight to kick in and for proper air circulation to revolve.

#4 Bed Room

Bedrooms are the place where an individual spends most of his/ her time. You relax, sleep, study or at times watch television in your room. It is important to keep Vastu in mind for a bedroom while selecting a house to maintain peace in an individual.

  • Master Bed Room: A master bedroom should be in the south-west direction. Remember, it should be bigger than the other rooms in the house. Remember to avoid the entrance of the master bedroom from the south direction. Entrance from east, west, and north is advisable.
  • Children’s Room: A children’s bedroom is one of the active places in the house. Fun, studies, thinking and a lot of creative creation comes from the kid’s room. A children’s room should be located on the west side of the house. The door of the kid’s room should be east facing.

#5 Bath Room

The place where great ideas come in when you dump! Therefore, to ensure that there is a flow of positive energy from, in and around a bathroom one should keep the following guidelines in mind before making the big purchase.

  • The bathroom should be located in the north-west section of the home.
  • The door of the bathroom should not be placed in the south-west direction. It should either be placed in the north or east direction.
  • The door of the bathroom should be made of good quality, wooden door. A metal door is a source of negativity.
  • The right direction for water and drainage outlet is east, north, or north-east. And the floor of the bathroom should also be sloped in the same directions.

Now your checklist is completed. If everything matches as per the Vastu guidelines then you are super ready to buy the house of your dreams.
